John Atkinson, the first born child of Smart & Eleanor was born 12/5/1804 in Monkwearmouth, Co. Durham. He died at 7 years of age on 7/9/1811. He is buried with his paternal grand parents, his father and his father's two brothers at St Nicholas Church, West Boldon.
