Walter Brunton

Thomas was born in December of 1867 in Darlington. Eleanor was born the September quarter of 1866, also in Darlington. They were married on the 5th of November 1887, yet again in Darlington.

They had a total of ten children by 1911, with nine surviving.  The identity of the tenth child and this child's year of birth are unknown.

In 1891, the family consists of only young Walter, they are living at 7 Vickers Street, Stanningley and  Thomas is a Steam Hammer Driver.

By 1901 they have six children and are living at 8 Hillside View, Stanningley; by now Thomas is a Forgeman.

In 1911, they have all nine children living at home and they are at 105 Arthington Terrace, Stanningley; while Thoams is a Forgeman  in the Railways Wagon Department.

Thomas died on the 17th of July 1938. It appears that Eleanor died on the 28th of January 1939.

Both at the time of death were living at 105 Bradford Road, Stanningley near Leeds. It appears from the probate records that they must have owed bankers some money, as all effects were granted to the banks on Probate.
