Rachael was the fourth child of Eleanor & William, born at Southwick, Durham, on the 20th September 1884.  In July 1902 she married Joseph Addison in Sunderland, Durham. Joseph was born about 1878.

 

In 1911,  Joseph was a Shipyard Labourer,  at this point in time they had six surviving children, having lost one unknown child.

 

In 1915, their eigth & last child, Jane Ann is born.

 

Joseph reportedly passed away in 1918, this would have left Rachael with seven children under the age of sixteen years.

 

Rachael passed away on 13/1/1952 in Monkwearmouth, Durham;  aged 67 years.
