Rebecca was born on or about the 2nd of February 1881. 

 

She appears in the 1881 census living at 12 Edward Burdes St, Southwick, Co. Durham.

 

Nothing further is known of her at this stage.  There is however a death record in Sunderland, Durham for a Rebecca Hughes, who died in the December Quarter of 1882 aged 1, at this satge we can only presume it is her.
