Isabella Newton was born in Fulwell, Durham, in October 1844, she married John Arridge, born October 1842 in Leake, Lincolnshire.

 

They were married in July 1867 in Sunderland, Co. Durham.

 

They had five children, with Albert dying as a young child at about 5 years of age.

 

In 1871, Isabella & John were living with her parents, he is described as a Shoe Salesman.  Some time before 1881, they moved to Bangor, Caernarvonshire, Wales, where John is descibed as a Shoe maker, Shoe shop manager & Bootmaker.

 

Both John & Isabella died in Bangor, Caernarvonshire, Wales; with Isabella passing first at age 79, in the March quarter of 1924 and then John in the December quarter of 1929 aged 87.
