Elizabeth was the third child of Robert & Elizabeth, born at Southwick, Durham, on 7/5/1857.  On 22/5/1875 she married John, born April 1854 in Sunderland, Durham.

 

During all of his life, John was a bottle maker.

 

Eleanor & William had seven children in all, with one, John Thompson Jnr dying at nine years of age.

 

Eleanor passed away in September 1939 inNorth Eastern Durham.  We have been unable to determine when John died.
